Mohammed A (fr) wrote: It's good movie to watch

Anthony T (au) wrote: A Palestinian family has that house commandeered by Israeli troops in the West Bank. A must-see look at how ordinary people suffer in the Middle East conflict. Powerful, sad and haunting- better than "Paradise Now".

Phil E (mx) wrote: A very fun movie. One of my favorites!

Lara H (mx) wrote: seriously one of the funniest movies. don't read too much into it people, it's comedy.

Richard L (fr) wrote: This movie has many interesting twists, but they end up being rather confusing. The conspiracies and corruption themes are dealt with in a simplist and populist way which requires heavy suspension of disbelief.

John S (au) wrote: Not some run of the mill 70's piece of trash. This is cinema at its finest. Well done enough that it seems just as pertinent today as it was back then. Speaks volumes if you have the right ears to listen.

Amber P (fr) wrote: I liked it, but probably because I am a fan of Justin Long; they talk about the band Roxette; and because I see my own dysfunctional relationships in the characters. I enjoyed the humor in Dell's pessimism.

Jacob W (ru) wrote: Seriously, try to find a better epic with better storytelling. You'll be searching all day fam ;)

Jason J (us) wrote: A very creepy movie starring Vincent Price under the deadly vice grip of his dead wife Ligeia's spirit which resides in an evil black cat. He tries to move on with his life and even remarries but Ligeia refuses to let him go.A very stylish and moody movie beautifully shot in the shadow of the ruins of Castle Acre Priory but nothing much happens until right near the end. The horror is mostly implied rather than shown directly. The setting is very atmospheric but it's the mysterious black cat that's the real star of the movie - malevolent, always watching and attacking. Vincent Price can be counted as always to deliver a great performance along with Elizabeth Shepherd who plays 2 roles. For a Roger Corman movie this must be one of his most restrained efforts. Overall, it's a nice movie which benefits greatly due to the location setting. It might not be a memorable movie but it's still worth checking out.
