Basic plot line, but the song and dance routines were inspiring, and I loved watching this film. Best Bollywood film Ive seen in a while.

(mx) wrote: Good: not all the actors were utter shiteBad: the film is nothing more than a bunch of sexist retarded twats trying to impress each other with sexual anecdotesFunny: nothing intentional, only that they bothered to try and squeeze in a faint storylineSad: that someone actually dedicated this rubbish to somebody who had died with a message at the end of the credits, that is surely the worst dedication anyone could hope for.

At time violent and kooky, and at other moments calm and quiet, this film truly is genre bending at its most literal. Very difficult to explain, but uniquely challenging a viewing, I would recommend this to those looking for something off of the beaten path.

(de) wrote: Tense, gritty, and well-acted, shows that an action film need not be brainless or just one gunfight and/or explosion after another. Like "Lord of War", portrays an often-overlooked aspect of "brushfire" conflicts.
