(ca) wrote: Hi, I miss the first few mins of this movie my mom was watching it and it was funny and weird at the same time. At the beginning was kind of boring a woman who husband is over in Iraq and she needs to get back to work so she got to find someone to help her out with her kids so Salman comes to help her out (despite she not to thrill with him but she sort of desperate). So Salman needs to earn some money (Lisa character wanted him to earn enough to go back home wasn't working out with him with her kids its mostly her kids fault one thur out the movie wanted to kill him) . So she helps him to get a job at her workplace she didn't know what it was when he does he takes it anyway (he tries to keep the peace) in a blue outfit handing out fliers too in which is funny he out there in a middle of nowhere too on doing this job. All in all its a funny movie if you get by the beginning of it.
(jp) wrote: A fun caper that's a bit hard to follow and all about breaking the 4th Wall (look it up). But who cares? It's a nutso faux noir romp and the leads nail it, especially Monaghan & Downey. What straight guy doesn't want to marry Michelle?! An auspicious directorial debut for Shane Black. The cinematography is uncommonly good for a mid-budget flick. Notice the color layers throughout - foregrounds, mid-grounds, backgrounds. Very effective. A good entertainment at a good runtime length.

(kr) wrote: Some magic is lost in this direct-to-video sequel, but still fun. Iago chooses the right side. Way to go, Gottfried!
(kr) wrote: I don't get the hate for this, though I've not seen the other entries to know how this one holds up. Nicely brutal and as always Parks completely steals the show. I also don't buy Charlie Bronson as the tough guy hero wholly.
(br) wrote: This movie has a good cast (Robin Williams, Rick Moranis, Eugene Levy) but the movie itself isn't that great. There were a few funny/interesting parts, but not enough to save the film.
(kr) wrote: While I can appreciate the film's important position within the history of film, its bleakness and neo-realism vibe made it difficult for me to relate to it on any personal or emotional level. There are moments of brilliance and some great artistry, but I feel the film is now revered more for its interesting off-screen story (directed by a UCLA student, forgotten about for decades etc.) rather than its on-screen merits.
(mx) wrote: Wow. Complex. Dark. Sick. Scary. A slap in the face to all living in ignorance about how war effects BOTH sides.
(ag) wrote: This was an epic yet depressing movie. I wish they had 20-30 minutes to tell us the beginning of Bess and Jan's relationship, that part would give more power to the story. It still was a thrilling drama which also shows the power of religion besides the power of love.
(ag) wrote: Funny with its Meta humor but no short of exciting action too.
(nl) wrote: This movie is terrible, the animations are terrible especially for a movie from 2012. The story is confusing and hard to follow, there seems to be no plot whatsoever. I recommend to avoid this movie.
(fr) wrote: Damn Bigfoot. You scary.
(us) wrote: Brooding film that covers loneliness, despair and forgiveness in the portraiture of its characters. A really excellent achievement considering the budget restraints.
