Michael H (it) wrote: Some absolutely gorgeous cinematography - particularly of bees and beehives and of the breathtaking Swiss landscape (unfortunately compromised by the flat looking presentation that results from digital distribution). A fine exploration of some bee history, the current beekeeping/honey/pollination industries, and recent concerns about bee health and survival often presented through interviews with a variety of characters in the industry.

Daniel F (gb) wrote: Well acted war torn drama that decides not to explore much of the ideology of this war.

Tim B (it) wrote: I actually really liked this. Yes, it's corny, and ends up a typical Bollywood love story (oh come on, what am I spoiling here?), but I thought it was well shot and well adapted for our times. Against the backdrop of recession-hit America, this is the opposite of Salam Namaste. A dark romance.

Brendan P (es) wrote: This is a really interesting, fun film. It's basically a two man show with Luke Goss getting terrorized by the menacing Lance Henriksen. It's intense and riviting. What a great low budget independent movie. I could have done without all of the stray people who Goss runs into in the desert. Those were the only times when it felt like a B-movie. But, regaurdless, this is very good.

Daniel C (ag) wrote: This was a really fun movie. I really liked the story, but I thought the ending was a little too unrealistic. But all-in-all I thought it was a really good effort!

Dean M (ru) wrote: Above average thriller about a psychopath killing prostitutes in New York City. Some good performances and action sequences still can't save this one.

Gerard M (ca) wrote: A brutal film. Marvellous wartime filmmaking.

Simon D (jp) wrote: Pretty good carry on film, especially as it didn't have a lot of the usual crew such as Sid James, Hattie Jacques, Joan Sims etc. I think these films are really finding their groove at this point, It took a while but I think the mould is now set.

Ali H (gb) wrote: Lee Tamahori's haka-esquely charged and harrowing family drama is engrossing. The portrayal of Maori culture in the contemporary society and the issues related to repressed ancestral identity are finely captured, in addition to the family issues of a regular disoriented family trying to make ends meet. Maori actors add to the authenticity and make the film a compelling experience.
