Tony H (jp) wrote: A nervously gripping documentary. Some of the negative comments from other critics duly point out that the film does not entirely focus on Bernie Madoff, this ignores the fact - which should be obvious from the title - that the film is supposed to be focused on the whistleblowers and their story, in particular, chief whistleblower Harry Markopolos, who felt his decade long pursuit of Madoff put his and his family's lives in constant jeopardy. That the SEC could consistently ignore the well substantiated claims made by Markolopolos and colleagues, not to mention the mere handful of prosecutions that came about, absolutely beggars belief.

Great performances, a sweet, touching film that aptly deals with the issues of loss, relationships, family and life as a whole.

Turns out Speed really does exist and saves the day. I would consider this adventure film to be a poor man's Romancing the Stone but also a rich man's Nate & Hayes.

With the tongue in cheek violence and cartoonish style on display here, I half expected a cameo from Austin Powers. Our two leads are engaged in the 21st century sport of "The Big Hunt" where after collecting 10 kills one becomes a decathlete, all the while alternating as hunter or victim. The premise is interesting and though it isn't handled seriously, the two leads and great Rome scenery make this a more than enjoyable ride.
