(ca) wrote: The second it started I could tell it was a slight improvement, because they had a bigger budget ($3 million) so it made them be able to have a better camera, but it's still not that good of quality sadly. Anyway, this is almost exactly the same as the first except worse because the actors give worse performances, it's unnecessarily a prequel, and there's more stupid crap and less tension. But again, the ending redeemed it to a 1.5/10. I remember thinking I didn't wanna see a third because these two were so nicely wrapped together (they connected this one by the end, REALLY well!) I may have forgotten to mention in the review of the first, so I'll just say here that I haven't been scared in either of these movies. A couple times I go like oh what, and think there's something scary coming, and that's how I get ready for it, but there never is. I also hate how it will kind of abruptly stop during the scary parts, like why stop when your on the way, and almost there, to scaring me?

(ru) wrote: the opening credits call this film the fourth movie in the killer tomatoes trilogy...and that should give you an idea of what this movie is like. it's got a few funny moments...but in the end it feels like a cheap clone of greats like the naked gun or airplane.
(de) wrote: an interesting crime/suspense thriller about a New Orleans detective who tries to sovle the murders of various people he has come in contact with. A little racy, but it was a very good plot. A tad similar to the Dirty Harry ones, but it was a different concept as well. Allison Eastwood plays his daughter well.

(it) wrote: This movie my wife and I just sat and watched and we were both its like a very slow movie and had a faint to no heartbeat. The movie is about a husband and wife that has lost a child due to miscarriage and have lost all their aspects of their relationships emotional and physical disconnect.I am not a fan of this kinda movie as its no real plot that can be shown on the screen. This should just stay a novel as in the novel you can really describe the characters and story to a great details.Watching it in a movie format is like watching two zombies. Not suitable for the kiddies.

(jp) wrote: For some odd reason, I thought I'd seen this before, but 5 minutes in, I realized I hadn't. A real charmer of a movie about a mouse adopted by 2 loving parents. It's all a huge metaphor of loving everybody no matter what they look like, it's so painfully obvious, but this was quite amusing nevertheless. The first 1/4 of the movie is the best, with all the crazy set design and costuming, but they seem to steer away from that for the rest of the movie.

River Phoenix gives a beautiful, sometimes heart-wrenching performance, and surprisingly Keanu Reeves is serviceable in shakespeare unlike his performance in Kenneth Branaugh's Much Ado About Nothing. My complaint is the character of Bob(Falstaff) is not highlighted enough to be a proper rendition.
