Peter F (ca) wrote: A harrowing French drama that starts off as erotic queer cinema, and then morphs into a disturbing thriller (if you've ever read a Dennis Cooper novel, then this might sound familiar). Stranger by the Lake has a rather slight plot, and can actually come off as a bit meandering with it's frequent sex scenes, and familiar shots. The movie's strongest card is it's second half though, when the slow-burn begins to pick up, and actually gives us a rather chilling climax. A solid tale about obsession and masochism, but not one that will appeal to very many.

A new group of soldiers have been formed to combat the aliens but the new alien technology may be more than they can handle..."The man's out of his bleeding mind. He's keeping his dead wife's finger around his neck."Joe Pearson, director of Nick's Thanksgiving Feast, Little Dracula, and the television series Roswell Conspiracies: Aliens, Myths, & Legends, delivers War of the Worlds: Goliath. The storyline for this picture was way better and more interesting than I anticipated based on the grades this has received on here and on Netflix. I also thought the dialogue was well done and the animation has an anime feel but not too over the top."I guess one beer wouldn't hurt."I found this on Netflix and decided to give it a shot. I liked this way more than I anticipated and thought the characters were well presented. I also really liked the animation and action scenes. This is a slightly underrated picture that is worth a viewing on Netflix."You can grieve for your dad later. We need you in the air."Grade: B

Wut S (kr) wrote: Nothing ever happens in this film, aside from the audience's own imagination, largely due to the anticipation: "something seems to be going on here." Unlike Tropical Malady, a mythological and surreal film by the same director, Blissfully Yours does not ask its audience to look into symbolisms. In fact, there are almost nothing that would indicate any symbolisms in this film, just repetitive human observations that lead to hypothetical speculations. Very unique and definitely one of a kind.

Adam R (jp) wrote: Not actually. There are too many characters and unrelated plot lines that lose your interest. It doesn't really have the charm it thinks it does, and is not really a Christmas movie. (First and only viewing - 1/30/2017)

Nuutti R (es) wrote: This must be one of the worst movies ever made. The plot, the acting, the special effects. The only good thing about it is the duration - barely over one hour with commercials.

Sterling H (jp) wrote: Love triangle makes the movie strange but it's a good movie overall.

Dann M (it) wrote: Michael Keaton stars as Mr. Mom in this wacky family comedy. After getting laid off Jack Butler is forced to become a stay-at-home dad when his wife is able to find a job and he isn't. Teri Garr and Martin Mull co-star and give nice performances, but this is really Keaton's show and he delivers; bringing a lot of charisma and personality to the film. However, the writing is rather weak and relies too much on bumbling parent clichs and tropes. Additionally, the subplot about the wife's new job is poorly served and is awkwardly shoehorned into the film. But despite its problems, Mr. Mom is an entertaining romp with some good laughs.

Augustine H (ca) wrote: The Turkish society it depicts is somehow still valid today, particularly regarding the Kurds.

Eric J (fr) wrote: Setting aside the cult and camp status of this infamous film, and the questionable veracity of Christina's story, Faye Dunaway's performance as well as the incredible physical transfomation are legendary.
