After all, troubled times gave birth to the genre in the first place, troubled times were needed for its revival. Intense pessimism is the main characteristic here. Gittes slowly unveils the mystery we stand mesmerised by great filmmaking and performances. J. As detective J. All the archetypal characters are here but still the screenplay is nothing less than brilliant. A neo-noir film with all the traits of the classic ones

Snoop Dogg actually puts in a wonderful performance and the plot is predictable but a throwback to blaxploitation films. however, this movie turned out to be quite fun and suspenseful. I'll be honest, I didn't know what to expect out of this movie

The only problem that I had, is that I didn't really seem much of a chemistry between Ash and Shelia, but despite that, Army of Darkness is a really great end to the trilogy that is my favorite horror trilogy. The score by Joseph LoLuca and the theme song by Danny Elfman is catchy to listen, and the action scenes are a delight to watch. The effects are great, both visual and stop-motion effects. The slapstick is funny, which is saying something, and the writing is just great. The story is good, and the humor it has is really funny. The one liners that he says are very quotable as the dialogue is pretty good. Bruce Campbell is having a lot of fun in this, whether it is being a bad*bleep*, an a hole, and wacky. So after watching this, Army of Darkness is the best Evil Dead movie by comparison, but it's the funniest one out of all of them, and I still enjoyed it very much. So I remember it being the least liked for it, but I was quite sure if I liked it at the time, or didn't liked it. Out of all the movies in this series, Army of Darkness is the one that I watched the least, which I think is because I didn't like how it went to comedy with little to no horror in it. Army of Darkness is the third film of the Evil Dead series, directed by Sam Raimi, written by the Raimi brothers, and it stars Bruce Campbell in a comedy film about Ash Williams being trapped in the Middle Ages and has to deal with the deadites to get to the present time

The cast is pretty great, some genuinely funny scenes and the usual sad spots as well, it pretty much flies by rather quickly. Didn't think I'd like a almost two and a half hour movie about Quakers but I did

Despite some flaws "Thunderball" is an entertaining Bond episode from the Connery era. They managed to succeed with this one because "Thunderball" managed to out gross "Goldfinger" and had James Bond all the rage. I think this is probably because they were trying to replicate what made "Goldfinger" such a success with audiences. Terence Young returns as director for the last time in the series and while the direction is solid it doesn't compare to his best Bond film "From Russia With Love". Adolfo Celi is good as Largo but not as good as the previous villains in the last three movies. Claudine Auger is alright as Domino but Luciana Paluzzi steals the show as one of the best femme fatals of the series SPECTRE agent Fiona Volpe. The Bond girls are as beautiful as ever. Sean Connery once again steals the show as James Bond and is more confident in the role. The acting is good. But the best sequence in the movie is a suspenseful scene where James Bond is shot in the leg and is running for his life from SPECTERE agents which showed that James Bond was still human and not Superman. But some scenes especially the ones near the end go on for far too long and are very clunky and dark making it hard to see who's fighting who underwater. "Thunderball" is well known for its underwater action sequences which were quite revolutionary at the time and still look great. Bond is sent to the exotic Bahamas to investigate the sister of one of the pilots of the stolen jet and comes across Number Two of SPECTRE Emilio Largo played by Adolfo Celi and dubbed by Robert Rietty. )The story by now is very generic: SPECTRE steals two nuclear warheads from a jet and holds the world ransom. (Although this time Kevin McClory produced the film and not Broccoli and Saltzman. "Cubby" Broccoli and Harry Saltzman decided to go bigger and better with Bond and thus "Thunderball" was created. Producers Albert R. After the phenomenal success of "Goldfinger", James Bond became a pop cultural phenomenon and expectations were held high for the next Bond film

Overall, this movie is far more than meets the eye, with a great cast, exiting action, interesting themes, and the best movie villain in recent memory, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is my favorite film of 2014, and is a movie that I will love and think about for years to come. This movie is much more than a simple sci-fi tale; the movie delves into topics that many other films are afraid to talk about such as, "what does it mean to be human?", as well as carrying political and racial undertones. Gary Oldman is great as Dreyfus, and the actor who plays Koba is nothing short of spectacular. While Andy Serkis shines as Caesar, and Jason Clarke is very good as Malcolm, the movie doesn't give you just that. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is as much about humanity as it is about apes

I hated debate before I saw this, now I hate it even more. Even Greg Whiteley can't make the dullest competitive event interesting

It's not awful, but not great. The jokes fell more flat this time and it's not as memorable as the first. It's a little dull, and the first was more enjoyable for me. I pretty much said everything in the opening paragraph. Plus, Don Cheadle makes a "before famous" appearance. custom agent and Chan realizes a wanted Chinese criminal and her gang are behind it. S. Tucker and Chan must solve a case of a murdered U. It's basically the first Rush Hour in China. It was dull at points and not as nearly as excited as the first. Not as good as the first, but I will credit it for not being some cheap knockoff to gain more money (that's for the third film)

They kept the language and let it speak for itself instead of trying to modernize Shakespeare's language, which usually ends up being a total disaster. I usually don't go for modern renditions of Shakespeare plays, but I thought this one was well done. David Tennant was born to play Hamlet
