(nl) wrote: I really enjoyed watching this. I was snowed in today and in the mood to be patient with a plot, so it worked out perfectly. I loved the desolate mood, this film is oozing with ennui. It had some very cute moments that warmed my heart. Wasn't a big fan of the sniffing scenes...very european.

Whilst OFOTCN went all out to prove its point in a very in-your-face way, this film makes the comment in a subtle and poetic way. And who could fail to fall for Martin Sheen's beautiful young troubador? Outstanding acting and a stunning use of words and imagination make this well worth seeing even now.

(ru) wrote: It may be a bit out of focus and lacks some in plot, but it's still a fun hororr/mystery flick. While Bruce Campbell has to share the spotlight with several other characters, it's still nice to see him again. The effects are nice, the kills are great, and the film has a good atmosphere. Overall, it's a decent little horror film that's worth a view.
