Battles Without Honor and Humanity: Final Episode is part five and the final installation of a series of yakuza films directed by Kinji Fukasaku. In the wake of a big police crackdown, Akira Kobayashi's icily sun- glassed Takeda attempts to transform the Hiroshima yakuza families into a legitimate political organization: The Tensei Coalition. When the young Matsumura ascends to the chairmanship of the coalition, the older, hardened yakuza led by Jo Shishido (BRANDED TO KILL) seize one last opportunity to stir up chaos and bloodshed. Culminating with the arrests, deaths, or retirement of the first postwar yakuza generation, this milestone series draws to an ambivalent close. . You can read more in Google, Youtube, Wiki

Leo L (fr) wrote: An interesting movie with a great story plot that follows a group of friends. Katie, Eddie, Stephen, Fig, and Sally. Each person having a certain desire, or need, to be fulfilled from their ones. Great cast- Rena Owen, Dean O'Gorman, Simon Prast, Sophie Hawthorne, and Simon Westaway. Worthy!

Gerald M (de) wrote: I was just 8 years old when the crime happened -- very clueless at that time. This documentary convinced me that Paco Larraaga is indeed innocent. I am a Filipino but this documentary clearly shows the rotten state of our justice system then.

Alejandra L (br) wrote: Another one, very boring, I don't recommend it at all!

Cody C (br) wrote: This one is a lot of fun. Many really memorable scenes and sparingly there's some truly impressive action. At one part a dude is pulled out of a moving truck and you see the stunt man REALLY fell out that truck and rolled. I miss stunt men and old school car chases and shit. The plot is 1-dimensional, but the movie flies by, despite nothing much really happening. If you're into blaxploitation, you need to see this.

Ernest A (us) wrote: A mediocre blaxploitation film for a perfect soul and funk soundtrack.

Mohammed A (kr) wrote: Hilarious , funny , love it

Dan I (ru) wrote: I watched this movie once and wanted my money back. This would have been difficult to do as I watched it on TV. So instead I went into my brother's room, took $5 off his dresser and told him he was responsible for my unhappiness. He has yet to forgive me for this transgression and I hold this movie directly responsible for the rift it has caused in my family.

Jose Miguel G (de) wrote: Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze share an amazing chemistry in this heavily action-packed crime flick, that will set Kathryn Bigelow as one of the big names in the female-directors department.

Tom B (fr) wrote: Unless you fancy Daniel Craig's backside and that of Harry Eden who plays his younger self, there is little reason to see this. Craig plays the titular Fool, who thinks with his penis. Supposedly Joe Scott has an ephiphany of sorts when his possible suicide attempt fails, but why this should change him when the horrific result of his lust in the Flashback didn't is beyond me.The cast is decent, including Craig. The standouts are Eve, as Scott's sassy housekeeper; Miriam Rogers as the knarly Mrs. Rogers; and Felicity Jones as the young Ruth.
