Xander K (br) wrote: In a couple of instances, I felt like the conflict was unnecessarily exaggerated, but overall, this was a fantastic and fascinating discussion.

Takeenia G (ag) wrote: Good movie, don't look for it to e deep, but look to be entertained and it won't disappoint . Big laughs here and ther. Worth a rental.

Andrew B (jp) wrote: I'm pretty sure that's not what South LA actually looks like, but this reapplication of the "underdog with a quirky-but-tragic mentor" plot to a Spelling Bee works as a fundamental piece of entertainment.

F B (gb) wrote: Difficult for me to understand and follow as I wasn't sure who was who but the action scenes were quite intense and well done and overall it was a very good film

Panos M (de) wrote: Throughout the movie you can't help but reflect on similarities to Dead Poets' Society which made Mona Lisa Smile less interesting to keep on watching.

Bret G (ru) wrote: Polanski employs powerhouse actors to peddle the kind of wisdom you could find at any PTA meeting. Skip it.

Migs R (mx) wrote: The best Dirty Harry film in my opinion. It was gritty, well acted, and I loved that the bad guys were cops. They truly believed they were doing good, which I could see where they were coming from, but it was a great contrast to the code Harry followed. Excellent film!

Jens S (us) wrote: Howard Hawk's classic safari adventure may be set in Africa and have plenty of huge scenes of men in cars chasing down animals. If you take that away, it is basically a romantic comedy, though. It is highly amusing to see what men turn into when a new female enters their territory and the little fights that causes. The lovable characters and light-hearted mood of the film make for a very entertaining experience. While the action sequence of the animal hunts do get a bit repetitive, they are still impressively filmed, look and feel real without a lot of special effect that'd probably be used today. The film easily could have been 15 minutes shorter, but it's still a lovable and charming experience to spend two hours with that crew of characters.

Luke M (fr) wrote: Warm, charming open-hearted and lead by a charming Jack Nicholson, As Good As It Gets does its best to overcome a slightly overstuffed script and sickly sentimental moments.

Kevin M W (de) wrote: Built by Ford, John Ford, with part mythos about the gunfight at the OK Corral, part nostalgia for the generation this film was intended signified by the use of the song of the title, and part myth building for what they wanted to become. I googled the town of Tombstone, AZ and Monument Valley and they're miles apart and yet in Ford's vision they're virtual neighbors. This is perfect filmmaking for projecting what its intended audience wanted to see, a mirror reflection of their loves, and indeed beautiful to behold.

Dennis K (de) wrote: The most annoying, stupid and worst-made film possible.

Robert C (ru) wrote: Needs to be a little shorter. I want to go back in time and make Audrey Hepburn love me.
