Jump - based on the novel of the same name, received numerous offers for the filming rights; not unusual for a novel by Sato, famous for his eerie love stories. The story is about an ordinary salary man, Junosuke, and his search for his lover, Miharu, who disappeared one night when she handed him the key to her room, and promised to be back in five minutes. She had only gone out to buy apples at the nearby convenience store, because Junosuke had it for breakfast every morning. Slightly drunk from the cocktail he had had earlier, Junosuke falls asleep, and wakes up the next morning to find that Miharu had never returned.

Chris J (gb) wrote: A simple plotted, bare-bones comedy with 3 great comedic leads. Ben Schwartz (Benny Shwahs) Josh Groban, and Steven Little are great, where Glenn Howerton is semi-stuck as the straight man / Poor Man's Paul Rudd. The plot doesn't break any new ground whatsoever, but the dialogue is gold. If any of the stars interest you, you'll dig it.

Jobin B (au) wrote: Watched it just because I loved the songs...an the movie was not bad too..

David Klein (mx) wrote: Low budget and not exactly captivating but not horrible. Lots of room for improvement though.

Sterlin R (fr) wrote: While it does have some silly moments and it feels like the second movie, "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines" is a great sequel with awesome action and a really unique villan, T-X.

Joe W (us) wrote: Beautifully done animation! Great storytelling! & genius music!

Andrew I (au) wrote: I never realised this was a true story until the very end, although 'story' is being rather charitable as almost nothing happened in the whole 2.5hrs. The cinematography was always pleasant, the actress playing Nadia was very good (especially in the Blue Danube scene which was probably the most enjoyable part), the subtitles seemed well translated and always clear. However, the 'comedic' elements with the guy looking for Zagorienka were very slight indeed and the budgie sounded more like an Ewok. By about halfway I was wondering how much more there was left. Only for the very patient.

Sean C (gb) wrote: This fourth installment really tests the patience! Things start ok with a doctor and his missus in a new town where strange things go on at night and the locals are generally unfriendly (a bit like Bournemouth then) There are no surprises, no thrills instead just dumb characters doing dumb things throughout. Witness the doc setting fire to one of the Templars and then failing to think 'ello, perhaps I could that to the rest'. Notice too how a castle for our blind dead antiheroes has lit torches throughout - what the Hell for? They're BLIND, what the crap would they light torches for? Ah well

Denny O (ca) wrote: Fresh and quite creative, this is a unique film in all aspects and shows Vincent price at his best.

Niels V (it) wrote: I can honestly say that i fucking love this movie. i have no understanding of whoever does not like this. I have never been more touched by a movie than i have by this, i can literally say that this is my favourite movie ever.
