The rest of the story, introducing all of his friends and the people where he lives, is great but there could have been a bit more added. In most of the parts the story manages to get it's point across. This one is definitely worth a rent if you are a fan of Chris Pine.

Her life is looking up, that is until she is involved in a hit-and-run which leaves a severely injured and stuck in the windshield. She panics and drives home, leaving this man still stuck in the windshield. Stuart Gordon's Stuck is a wildly original story which is presented in the b-movie vein. What I mean by this is that its a very raw, stripped down story which is quite grotesque and I would imagine quite realistic. This caregiver is presented as this great compassionate person in the beginning of the film and Gordon uses her to show how how in society many individuals, no matter how good of a person they may be, will do anything to better themselves at the dismay of others. Its a raw analogy but still a decent one as he comments on the moral decay of our society. Yea, sure it may be a little unrealistic about how long this guy is able to survive and such, but its still an original dark drama that's pretty fun to watch..

(ag) wrote: "A HORRIBLE FAMILY SECRET" - 'Dolores Claiborne' is a 1995 drama thriller based on the novel by Stephen King. The film is about a woman who is accused of murdering her employer and the secret she keeps about the death of her husband. Not the skin crawling suspense that we are accustomed to of King, but it will keep your attention from beginning till end and features the wonderful Kathy Bates (Misery) and Jennifer Jason Leigh (Backdraft). Other cast members are Christopher Plummer (The Sound of Music), John C. Reilly (The River Wild) and David Stratheim (The River Wild). Family is everything... When housemaid Dolores Claiborne (Bates) is found standing over the dead body of her employer the old Vera Donovan, she is accused of murder. Detective John Mackey (Plummer), who investigated the mysterious death of Claiborne's husband Joe St. George (Stratheim) 20 years ago, is now determined to get this woman behind bars. Then Selena St. George (Leigh), who is working as a reporter in New York, comes over to find out the truth about her mother Dolores. Because the investigation is ongoing, Dolores isn't charged yet and may go home for the time being. Facing her mother to who she hasn't spoken for over a decade, Selena relives moments of her childhood. Did her mother kill her alcoholic father or not?
