Dimwitted, somewhat misanthropic Oslo mail carrier Roy's quiet life changes dramatically on the day he steals a set of keys and lets himself into the apartment of a deaf woman who seems to be in trouble with a psychotic criminal. Though he doesn't know it at the time, his and her fate are about to intertwine and this is not going to be to his benefit.

A lazy postman puts his nose where it doesn't belong. . You can read more in Google, Youtube, Wiki

Jerome P (us) wrote: Hell yeah! This movie was awesome. Kitschy, bloody, occasionally bizarre, just enough bad acting and lots of madness equals an awesome ride. Some seriously creative violence, too. I loved it.

Kaonashi (es) wrote: I think it is good this film got made... because it gives you a inside look into how a capitalistic form of democracy is campaigned in a foreign government. The people of Bolivia were not pleased with who they got. The campaigning of trickery and false promises, which won the election for Goni with a 26% majority vote was soon to be no more. A interesting look at how democracy is misrepresented, campaigned and the majority of people are left out to dry. Do see the John Pilger film "The War on Democracy". It gives you the other side to this film, then you can draw your judgments on the issue.

Ian B (es) wrote: Mean Streets remains one of the most important films of the 1970s. It made Hollywood take notice of Martin Scorsese and Robert De Niro, it laid the groundwork for the direction both their careers would take, and has a sense of realism that perfectly captures the decade. Both had made films prior to this, but none were able to show off their talents like Mean Streets did. For me, it falls slightly short of being one of Scorsese's masterpieces due to script and pacing issues. Harvey Keitel is a small time gangster trying to make a name for himself, and De Niro is his lose cannon buddy who screws up just about everything in his life. De Niro keeps screwing up, Keitel keeps trying to bail him out. That's about it. But, like I said, what the film lacks in story it more than makes up for with terrific performances, plenty of suspense and the fact it perfectly captures 1970's New York. Mean Streets may not be nearly as good as the collaborations that followed, but it's still a highly entertaining and important piece of filmmaking.

The Next Day His Pregnant Wife, Nadia (Elena Anaya) Is Kidnapped By A Band Of Mysterious Masked Men.Samuel Receives A Phone Call To Get Sartet Out Of The Hospital, Before Another Attempt On His Life Occurs, And He Has 3 Hours To Get Sartet To Safety.Hunting Samuel & Sartet Down Is Commandant Patrick Werner (Gerard Lanvin), Who Is On The Case Of The Murder Of A Wealthy Business Owner, Who Sartet Supposedly Killed. The Film Fits Into The Thriller Genre Excellently, With It's Great Fast-Paced Gripping Introduction, Which Features Great Cinematography, Great Music And It's Great Atmosphere. The Pace Tends To Slow Down Until The Kidnap, Which Is Done Without A Soundtrack, & Very Shaky Hand Camera Shots To Provide Realism. The Fast Pace Remains Throughout The Movie. This Film Above Many Others & So Like Some Others Lacks In Instrumental Score Slightly Adding More Realism Throughout. With This As Well As The Great Performances From It's Main Cast,And Direction From Fred Cavaye, This Is One Thriller, That Real Movie Fans Will Enjoy, As It Sets The Right Atmosphere To Make A Realistic & Tense Film.
