Steven E (de) wrote: My brief opinion is that this well made film by Pascal Laugier showed he has the ability, as a director, to deliver the unquenchable. Anyone who actually 'enjoyed' this film should see a therapist. But those few, like myself, who watched it and questioned how anyone could vindicate the brutal torture of a young woman can appreciate the skill in the film making present. I will never watch this film again but I will watch out for Pascal's next film, which will hopefully be as bloody but more watchable.

dfw f (gb) wrote: interesting thought for a movie but poor execution. bomb of a movie. I managed to catch this movie at a film festival that was held. This is a well acted independent production. The acting was crisp and the plot was thrilling and suspenseful. Without trying to give too much away I could see some similarity between a certain member of the current royal family and the rumours that have been swirling around that prince. One can only wonder if that was the source of inspiration of the screenplay. The story is played out well and the ending is one that is so non- Hollywood! I have been guarded in what has been said so as not to give too much away.

Jenn M (fr) wrote: I don't think it's a big surprise that the rating is half a star. and that's being generous. The plot was ridiculous, I can't even describe how awful this was without getting mad

Robyn M (nl) wrote: Hidden Surprise, full of Zest and much deserved Hoopla. I quite enjoyed this family jewel.First stand offish, expecting a lame story and bad script. I had plenty of laughs and much love towards the Zibra.Fictional story about the Zibra who dreams of being a race horse is mocked by other Horses and People. In the end Proving if you try and fail, try agian. This movie is rewarding and uplifted by great spirit!- Worth the watch.

Todd A (us) wrote: Get Shorty is a tangled mess that builds in glorious fashion to one twisted ended. The film is driven by sharply written dialogue and stellar performances from the main cast.

Katya R (gb) wrote: Wonderful, triste, chaleureux and unsettling. A girly film with an arthouse twist...it's a really beautiful story with a touching simplicity to the production, it's all about them. J'adore!

Olivier M (es) wrote: Oh that movie ! You want an action film ? You'll be disappointed. Well, maybe not, or ... whatever...This movie is a UFO. There is no message, no hard-boiled, no despair; it is just a huge amount of surrealistic scenes and crazy moments.Yes, this movie is not serious but a great moment of laugh. Something you can watch easily, have a nice good laugh, and try again the next week.Mostly all the moment are anthology, the robs while singing, the crappy jokes, the ambulance chase, the characters.Do I need to mention that I really loved it ?Considering it as bad, maybe you need to watch out and see the brighter side of life.

Amanda E (es) wrote: This was a waste of forty minuets of my life that I will never get back, and thank goodness it was only forty minuets because I turned it off before it was over because I couldn't stomach anymore. The whole movie was a waste and stupid!!!

Charles P (gb) wrote: The 1979 remake of the 1922 horror masterpiece is the closest any movie could come to matching the status of its original from the beautiful visual direction of Werner Herzog to the strong depiction of the legendary vampire by Klaus Kinski.

Amber L (ag) wrote: I was surprised and entertained.... Yes it was cliched but not every movie has to win an Oscar to be good. I liked it and I'd see it again!

Marilee A (ru) wrote: If you love Film Noir, you'll enjoy this

George I (kr) wrote: Time has not been kind to this movie. Even if you look past getting a Frenchman to play a Scot and Scot to play an Egyptian/Spaniard (neither of whom making much effort to conceal their natural accents), this is a two star film which only earns it's third via Clancy Brown's performance as The Kurgan. If i were a film-maker asked to remake this "classic", I'd say "Sure. As long as I get to make it about The Kurgan." He's the only interesting character here.
