I'm talking, these actors knew they were bad and tried to "over-act" in order to seem just okay. There were several other things that made me laugh and cringe. I love movies with creepy kids, but this was one big mistake that should have been aborted.

James H (ca) wrote: Fair comedy drama. good cast. Jacqueline Bisset is terrific and well cast. Cliff Robertson is good in a supporting role. There?s nothing really wrong with the film, it?s just bland and it is certainly predictable. It?s is entertaining but quite forgettable as well.

Under normal circumstances, I would probably have never voluntarily watched these films, but for different reasons I ended up seeing all of them. And now i have come to the conclusion that Steve McQueen is a cool guy. I mean, who else would be so daring as to sneak around in white pants in the middle of the night while trying to escape from a German PoW camp? And what sort of cowboy would still be so calm and laid-back, all the while wearing a peachy pink shirt? Steve McQueen, that's who!All the films i've seen in the last week have been pretty good. The only one i found rather painful to sit through was The Return of Martin Guerre. I had to watch that as part of my Film & History course and i felt it was quite a slow-moving film. It had it's interesting moments, but it still wasn't enough to incite a liking of the film from me...Sorry Martin Guerre :(

Screen N (ru) wrote: The scene where the hobo melts into the toilet is over-the-top and amazing, and pretty much sets the pace for the entire film. Interestingly, the director Jim Muro went on to be cinematographer for such high-profile films as Crash (2004).
