Daryl K (kr) wrote: A retrospective mainly of interest to Brian De Palma fans, of which I am one. The director goes through his body of work film-by-film, and offers candid insights related to the production of each. As far as a documentary goes, if you don't have a connection to these films for starters, 'De Palma' probably isn't going to convert anyone -- it's just a guy in a chair talking about his movies, illustrated by film clips.

Barry N (nl) wrote: You know how some movie francises just need to quit? Dr. Dolittle followed this pattern. The first two were okay, but this one was atrocious. Not a single thing in the film was done right. The acting was bad, the plot was predictable and ludicrous, and the jokes were unfunny. This film was a cheap gimmick in an attempt to cash in on the Dr. Dolittle francise.

How come over six people could not stop one main from climbing on a rope. Everyone just stood there doing nothing. Most of the decisions that were made by the people made no sense.

Dave R (us) wrote: a gritty crime drama that has some moments but on the whole left me flat. reynolds delivers some good deadpan humor but there are just too many holes in the plot for me and the film is too long. could've told the same story in a 90 or 100 minute film.
