Chayc (gb) wrote: Wants to be something like Latter Days or Shelter, but doesn't make it. The lead is really good, though.

Elvis F (ru) wrote: Surprisingly good script, considering the production value. Horrible sound editing, too many shaky, tight camera shots. Good to see Ken Foree back fighting Zombies though.

Grant F (de) wrote: Danny Boyle takes from his 1996 film Trainspotting and creates a very stylistic film that could be one of the best live action children's film have ever seen. But is Millions a kids movie? Absolutely! Kids will love this story about two boys who find a duffel bag full of money. It is a great concept that not only delivers a entertaining film but there is still allot there to keep the adults interested and in the end talking.Saint statistical expert Damian brings so much light to this story. It shows you how innocent, honest and beautiful ones life can be. His character is something everyone should strive to be like. This is his story. The situations he faces range from the miniscule of moments to events that even an adult would struggle with. This can almost be seen as a coming of age movie, but really Damian is has allot of growing up to do though we can all learn a little something from this 7 year old.Millions is supported by a great child cast. These are exceptional examples that children can really know the art of acting. This is surely not Danny Boyles greatest movie but it sure has allot of heart. I couldn't help but relate the millions to Slumdog Millionaire in some small ways (Title included). Millions is a worthy entry into Boyle's filmography.

Wesley C (ag) wrote: I love movies about writer, which is why I picked this movie up. Justin Long is awesome in it! I love the physical acting-the scenes with him trying to open the beer bottle and wine bottle are great-, and when the agent discusses possible endings, I laughed and clapped, they had no idea! It was an adorable movie that will go into my personal collection.

Alec B (mx) wrote: Excluding his strong work in television, Neil Marshall's post "The Decent" directing career has been rather depressing. Here, he has assembled a potentially entertaining action thriller only to fill it with cliche after cliche.

David W (au) wrote: The revival of Bond (Again), Goldeneye spawns Pierce Bronsnan as his best with a awesome video game to back up the incredible action

Jamie C (fr) wrote: Amazing in many ways, Dull in some, The effects were great but there was allot of green screen used and some bits just came across silly like the scene when the dinosaurs were chasing them looked too fake to really feel the danger, The acting was good, The action and there was allot more than I expected thanks to the adding of dinosaurs and big creatures that were impressive, my only faults were it was overlong which wasn't a total bad thing but the first hour I forgot that I was watching King Kong and thought I was watching a film about a failed actress in New York but apart from that it's one of the best remakes you will ever see.

Joel A (nl) wrote: The final film for legendary director Frank Capra and he decides to re make his 1933 Lady for a Day.I haven't seen the 33' original but I enjoyed the film but it needn't be 2 hours 13 minutes long but it is still a good film. It goes to show even if the screenplay is a little shaky if you have a great pool of acting talent you can get away with a lot.Glenn Ford was fantastic as the head boss man & Bette Davis was her usual brilliant self and all the supporting actors had a lot to offer. It had a weird rhythm & didn't flow perfectly but It had a charm to it & quite funny in parts. Not the quintessential Capra film but worth a watch.

Andrew M (fr) wrote: "Puncture" is a well balanced drama. Chris Evans gives a tremendous performance as a drugged up lawyer. The rest of the cast and the writing is good enough to make this a very good independent film.
