Mikey S (nl) wrote: This movie is a instant classic I knew of the Canadian metal band anvil but this movie is a eye opener on how one minute you can be on top of the world and next minute fall off the face of the world....this movie shows you from the start thay these guys should have been known better then what happened. But this movie shows you never never never give up RENT

Yes, the writing was great and I actually liked Adam Goldberg's character when he wasn't being overly annoying. But I just couldn't feel the sympathy that the movie wanted you to feel, I couldn't feel that sympathy for two rich egotistical Americans who have to "rough it out" in Paris for a few days.

Paul J (jp) wrote: A truly wonderful guilty pleasure. Cheesy, dated and with some ridiculous plot points. The innovative and groundbreaking concept is still unmatched today. Visually, the film is a true one-of-a-kind experience. The Matrix owes a thing or two from this Disney release.

Connor B (ca) wrote: Best Planet of the Apes sequel. Perfectly reflects the attitudes of the 70s and can easily blend in with the darker films of the 80s. For a film that cost only two million dollars, it seems to be directed pretty damn well. Watch the unrated cut though, as it doesn't hold back.

David B (gb) wrote: The story is stretched to it's limits, it has way to many back flashes but that's to remind us what's been going on from the past series, it's not confusing unless you haven't seen the others. Nice traps and a better twist than Saw V, in fact I found this a lot better than Saw V altogether and that is saying a lot because it has the grittiness of the first three films and it is back to basic's. The acting was very good from the cast but Costas Mandylor could've been a bit better but to me is still Hoffman, and would never swap him for anyone else. It's always a thrill to see Tobin Bell back as John/Jigsaw (Even if it is in flashbacks, though it does feel that they may have killed him off to early, in Saw III). This film had the setting to be the last and after a great twist showed that there will be another one. Still, great gore scenes and all credit to the writers for filling in the gaps. Saw VII (Saw 3D will be the last). Nice to see Amanda (Character from Saw, Saw II and II) back in it. This film is back to basic of what Saw is all about. Great film in the edition and possible the best sequel so far.
