Las actuaciones del reparto son solidas sin llegar a ser destacadas, sin embargo el guion no termina de cuajar, quiza se deba a que no se logro del todo la transicion de obra teatral a pelicula.

It's less a horror film and more a story of both loss and mental trauma. Hopkins was always a shy guy who never was loud enough on his own to get the girl or suceed in life so he had to find another way to be loud which was through the dummy. It worked, but at the cost of his sanity. He finally steps up but at what price is he willing to pay? Is it worth sacrfycing stardom over his love or mental state?Hopkins is outstanding and gave an award worthy performance. Oscar worthy but it was a strong year so he wouldn't have won. Margret was likeable, Ed Lauter played one of his few scummy roles well, and Meredith was Meredith as badass as ever. Great score by Jerry Goldsmith and Attenbrough did a great job dirrecting.I'd highly recomind this if you love either character stories, creepy films, or tragedies. Not a horror film but it delivers the goods.

While the first half hour, which acts as a direct sequel to the Wolf Man, isn't THAT bad...the rest of it involving the ol' monster in his fifth go around is rather badly done. There is little of the monster actually in the film and this movie is really poorly edited. It serves as a bad sequel to the prior Frankenstein films and seems to get a bit confused on the facts...as the whole film does. As a whole it is illogical even as werewolves fighting corpses go! Just a dissapointing film...good for an occasional, unintentional laugh but nothing more.
