Anna B (jp) wrote: I found the off-the-wall narrative twists this movie took very entertaining; it has one of the most amazingly insane mid-way about-faces I've ever seen in a movie. It's too bad the ending is so dumb that I almost rated it lower before deciding the interesting, imaginative nature of what preceded it wasn't completely ruined. Not completely. Swanberg is catastrophically miscast, and the regressive conflation of lesbianism and mental illness is pretty baffling. I suspect the next movie this guy makes will come and go without a trace.
