Tim M (ca) wrote: Best LDP movie I've seen since Bats. It also stars Scott "Jodie Foster's boss in Silence of the Lambs" Glenn, and The Wishmaster, only with no powers. Unless you count his horrible cuban accent as an actual power. This movie not only has lots of action, but also had a deeper message. It attempted to prove wrong racial stereotypes, by having over-violent African Americans, greasy, sex-starved Hispanics, and wealthy, intelligent Caucasians...Mission accomplished!

Lots of actors in small roles: Tony Shalhoub (Fermi), Hume Cronyn, Hal Holbrook. David Strathairn as Oppenheimer, Brian Dennehy as Gen. Lesley Groves. My simplistic story line: bomb built by European Jews to stop Hitler ends up being used against the fanatical Japanese (civilians.) As a historically accurate movie, it makes me think I need to read about this. Michael Tucker played the one sympathetic character, Hungarian physicist Leo Szilard. Guess I'm waiting for the Hollywood version, where the good guys win and the bad guys die. Wait...

Jeremy W (it) wrote: Not sure why it has a cult following. It's a cheesy slasher flick, but it's not fun or silly in any way; just bad. Even with the titties, the movie is unwatchable.
