Punk-rocker turned suburban mom, Kelly, is nostalgic for a life she can no longer have and uncertain of a future she doesn’t yet fit in. Seventeen-year-old Cal is frustrated at his lack of control over the hand he's been dealt. One normally thinks of North Korea as an impoverished nation but the fireworks set up for the workers celebration certainly suggested otherwise. Did shake my head when a Bruce Springsteen t-shirt spared the rescue plane from unknowingly being shot down by US fighters. Somewhat amazingly, the plot could be recycled today.

Sadly some of the pacing and lack of explanations bring it down a bit. I mean, the whole story is a superhero origin story. WHY.
