(fr) wrote: Acting was pretty bad but had a few good slapstick laughs in it. & liked that lot of the story had borrowed from old Little Rascals stuff. But now I'm hearing lotta reviews on the previous Little Rascals movie, called Little Racsals, & lots say how it's a very good movie so now I wanna watch that one
(us) wrote: This was a total disappointment. I love supernatural/religious thrillers, and I love Monica Bellucci. This seemed like a sure thing! Imagine watching The Omen, except the director has edited out nearly every scene with the least bit of suspense or interest. This movie plods along for 90 minutes - but it feels so much longer. Towards the end, I really didn't care if the kid died (relax, not a spoiler - it's on the back cover), I just wanted something to HAPPEN. Rent one of the dozen other supernatural thrillers out there - this one is a dud.

Worth checking out if you like his films, plus Jeremy Irons is great, but keep this one away from the kids...

(de) wrote: OK, the movie is quite slow. The acting is not that great. And it also has Adam (Batman) West in it (Good Lord). BUT in spite of it's flaws, the last 30 or so minutes of this movie are terrifying. And the reason I say that is because of the atmosphere and the situation. You have to put yourself in their shoes. Because what happens to these girls would cause the average person to have a massive heart attack. I love Horror movies and I don't scare easy. In fact, The Exorcist is the only movie to ever scare the shit out of me. BUT AGAIN, the last 30 or so minutes of this movie definitely got under my skin. And that's why I'm giving it 4 stars, because even though the first hour or so sucked, the finale is definitely worth the wait. Watch it on One Dark Night, and if you can stay awake for the first hour, I promise you that last 30 minutes will definitely keep you awake. It just might keep you up for the rest of the night.
