John F (it) wrote: Untalented and amateurish. The story takes a hot-button issue, a very serious one that deserves a more considered approach, and hits you over the head with emotion and trendy cinema style. Brody's performance is the only element that stands out, out of place in a mishmash of high-school level acting, directing and editing.

Mexijersey M (ag) wrote: different plot from the original manga and anime. the graphics and CGI are kinda bad. but, i thought it was a good movie.

urim t (es) wrote: Good story telling. Mostly we watch the performance of a teenager playing the younger version of David Duchovny's character. It's a touching tale that even Robin Williams cud not destroy.

Nick P (es) wrote: Only a black director could get away with such blatantly obvious racism and still have his film make theatres. Most of the jokes in the movie leave me saying "Wow" and not in a good way...more so in a I-can't-believe-they-just-said-that way. This film is vulgar, lowbrow, and annoying. If you haven't got more than a single brain-cell left, I recommend this film.

Ellen B (fr) wrote: Well, this was better than the first one, but still totally retarded. Really liked the puppet animation though.

Carlos I (it) wrote: Another awesome horror anthology. This one inspired by old EC comics. So much fun!

Gordon T (ag) wrote: A HUGE 100 % (ONE HUNDRED PERCENT)!!!!! WINGS Hauser plays Ramrod a coked-up pimp who beats-up his hookers and rams pimp-sticks into them!!!! it is Freaked-Out!!!!! they never make movies this Frenetic These Days. . . . I think they censored my earlier review . . . I'll leave it up though: . . . and this review of mine disappeared too (CENSORED). I THOUGHT censorship was uncool. Hip dudes like Bill Maher and George Carlin despise censorship. The censored version . . . (booo). (when someone takes down your review and makes it appear like you never wrote the review in the first place it?s a tell-tale sign you?ve been censored. (remember the disclaimer: any objectionable material may be deleted without notice). WINGS HAUSER IS RAMROD!!!!!! Ramrod is a COKED-UP pimp who murders prostitutes and police-officers throughout the entire 90+ minutes of this AWESOME, HYPED-UP ?urban-Hell Movie;? yet, never once do you ever see Ramrod actually Snort Coke though. You-know RAMROD actually seems like he was on PCP (Phencyclidine) throughout the film. PCP (aka Angel Dust) eliminates the ?feeling? or ?conscience? parts of the brain and people on Angel Dust Do Anything with no remorse; PCP appears to affect the frontal lobe of the brain that ?mediates? emotion. Wings Hauser is (like, one of the) THE BEST ACTOR (S) in ?these-movies,? he is ON FIRE throughout the whole movie. NEON SLIME sung by WINGS HAUSER over VICE SQUAD?S opening and closing credits.

Allen G (es) wrote: Herzog's slow pacing is more dull than impactful in this case but there's still a lot to like here. A mixed bag overall but, at its best, 'Stroszek' is everything that a Herzog fan could ask for. The film doesn't really heat up until the latter stages as it moves away from its narrative, which is never particularly rewarding. When it cuts loose, however, there are moments of genius and the movie can be simultaneously hilarious and sad. It's a subtle achievement overall but the last quarter or so of the movie are worth the wait. A must-see for Herzog fans and worthwhile for others if they have enough patience.

Megan M (us) wrote: Love this movie! The acting is amazing. One of my favorites.

David S (kr) wrote: This story is so stupid. It wants to be about redemption but it is also so focused on Adam Jones' past, it can't focus on anything. It is so confused with what it wants it to be it gets lost and just kind of cruises to a finish just to get there. This movie surprisingly didnt make me hungry, which is ironic because any movie that does deal with food usually does. It had potential but it just ultimately flops. Watch Chef instead.

Steve D (gb) wrote: Not funny, not clever, just an odd poorly paced and often discussing waist of time,

Matt T (ag) wrote: As much as I like to see Natalie Portman in anything, and even moreso when carrying a pistol, this isn't worth watching just to get that. The sets are lovely. The costumes are great. The direction and the poorly thought out story switchbacks ... not so much. Don't bother with it.
