Erick F (es) wrote: This was the longest 90 minute movie I ever watched. I don't know if it was the long drawn out embarrassing scenes. Or the long drawn out -- super creepy scenes. Regardless of how long it felt, they did a good job developing the main character's arch. Super weird anti-social girl learns to just embrace who she is and start killing people. Also, I don't think this girl was that unattractive. Even with a screwy eye, I think she would have been able to get a cute guy. Poor casting choice. But I did like the ending. Nice touch. solid effort on both concept and execution.

Mary-Kate and Ashley movies are cheesy and cliche. There are only certain times when their movies produce quality... like Our Lips are Sealed. What you can walk away with is a possible middle school crush. Jesse Spencer was mine. House did him some good. And I'm glad I got to see him in a 2 star movie before I watched him in House. He will do great things. My sisters and I laugh at that red head guy. He was pretty funny.

Kenneth L (it) wrote: An odd movie. About 1000 Jews get on a boat out of Germany in 1939 to go to Cuba, but never really get there. There isn't really any clear arc here; rather, we see maybe a dozen or so characters reacting to the developments in their escape attempt. There are ok performances by Faye Dunaway, Malcolm McDowell, Max Von Sydow, and Orson Welles, among others, but each has been in much better movies. The technical aspects are unremarkable. Probably the most powerful element of the movie is the titles that appear at the very ending to inform you of each person's eventual fate. The characters aren't really developed, so the movie doesn't reallly succeed at being either plot-driven or character-driven. It's more just situation-driven.

Jenna I (ag) wrote: I get the sense this is what Lynch wanted to do with Mulholland Drive... 3 Women sure is atmospheric at best, and tough to keep your eyes open at worst. A couple of key scenes, the birthing one in particular, keep this movie worthwhile... otherwise it's kind of a mess of nothingness.
