Art S (de) wrote: Jack Lemmon stars again for Billy Wilder as a harried corporate exec who discovers that his suddenly deceased father had been having a regular summer affair with Juliet Mills's mother (working class Brits). Although a little dated, the movie can easily charm you -- and this may be the magic of the Italian locations, the romantic music, and the typically wry wit. Imdb tells me that Juliet Mills starred in a short-lived sitcom called Nanny and the Professor which rings some distant bells. But I don't think she was nude in that (nor was Jack Lemmon). Probably this is a tad bit too long, but it does move along at a fair clip. Those looking for the real bite of earlier Wilder will likely find he's gone soft, but there are still a few funny cross-cultural barbs.

But that's not the point of the film either. I enjoyed watching it, but it got a little old after a while, but very interesting to watch
