Hawk (mx) wrote: This movie is at it's best when it's a sci-fi mystery, unfortunately the movie would much rather be an action movie which seems like a waste as the action here is probably the most boring part. At the half way point the movie even disposes of the mystery entirely and tells the audience, in no uncertain terms, exactly what's going on. Even if you don't mind that fact the movie just feels generic by the end.

Tyler S (br) wrote: It's a buddy cop movie and one of the originals that actually worked. The chemistry between the 2 leads worked well. Murphy did take some shots from Noltes character that probably wouldn't fly into todays climate. Nolte is a grunty Chain smoking cop and Murphy is a convict. Together they work to fight off the bad guys. Maybe a little overrated but one that laid the rush hour framework.

Pierluigi P (ru) wrote: An au courant account -by the swinging sixties' standards- of a relationship and the institution of marriage, shown through all its stages with lots of charm. From a narrative standpoint it might be a bit muddled, but Hepburn and Finney give the right touch of wit, chemistry, cynicism and joie de vivre for all to be pleased.
