(de) wrote: I really enjoyed the story, however the poorly edited/ planned out scene in which the main character searches the cabin for a thermostat. The blatant voiceovers were hard to watch.
(gb) wrote: There is a lot going on here. Some good, but mostly bad. It's unclear what Tony Scott was doing here and why the film plays more like an elaborate music video than a comprehensive film. However, the real life story behind the film is fascinating, and you can't say Scott wasn't original in his take on a biopic
(fr) wrote: I actually don't even know how to describe this movie. If this story has any basis in reality (and it very well may...) then I'd be shocked. I would seriously only watch this if you're gay and want to watch a young man struggle with adjusting to prison life in Germany while also struggling to realize who he is while getting into an interracial "prison relationship" with another inmate. It's not a long movie but I thought (and wished) that it would end five times before it actually did. The end itself, though, was actually kind of sad. This is not a light, fun movie for kids of all ages.
(us) wrote: This was actually a pretty good movie. You don't see Gregory Smith around too much anymore, but he's actually such a terrific actor!
(es) wrote: Laughably bad, but a good watch to see how not to make a movie. So many film making mistakes or cheats. Campy B movie bad enough to be watchable.
