Mikhail B (ru) wrote: A young boy who lives with his unaffable father secretly adopts a pelican nestling from a pet smuggler. As the bird grew it became a local attraction and, more importantly, a means for the boy to establish his statute on the small Greek island, find friends and to connect to his father. Childish film falling into the Free Willy category quite decently done.

Mike B (it) wrote: Carey is bad, and the film suffers for it. I never liked Melora Walters either. Not very exciting, and the action sequences are marginal, but reasonably well-crafted.
Ryan C (jp) wrote: Lame, pathetic and the same innuendo we've witnessed in the other three, 'Vegas Vacation' was just another studio attempt to make Chevy Chase famous.

Michael L (jp) wrote: i think this is my favorite arthur penn movie. this has vrirtually no stars in it and relies on a clever and heartfelt script. i think four friends has a great deal of unflinching realism and other times a fantasy of fancy. either way, i was quite entertained. also, jodi thelen is absolutely gorgeous in this.

Benjamin W (ag) wrote: I'm still in awe of Jaques Demy's talent with color and music in this odd little fairy tale that kind of mixes together "Cinderella" and "The Princess and the Frog". Of course, the ridiculous fairy godmother was a hoot, the songs were catchy, and the special effects were great. Overall, just a fun film in general.
Daniel S (kr) wrote: i was definitely wanting to see this, i love me some hammer horror and i especially love me some christopher lee, i appreciate that they took the original story and reworked the plot to be something different, but Dracula is barely in it!! He has like srsly 5 mins of screentime, just about all of which in the very beginning, they should have called this Van Helsing as its mainly just about him, its not a bad film, cushing and gough are good as the leads, but i was just expecting more chris lee :(

Becca B (it) wrote: Such a great movie! kept me on my toes and wondering what will happen next. The only thing i didn't like was the ending. Will there be a second movie? i want to know does Earl Brooks get caught? also does Jane keep the baby? Does she get caught and go to jail too? How does Emma feel about all this? How does she not know? Where does she think MR. Brooks is every night? So many un-answered questions.
