Sean W (kr) wrote: Finally, after all the B-movies and weak horror flicks, Mary Elizabeth Winstead has a real shot at showing us what she's really capable of. She's the shining star in this, a well made, even handed and realistic insight into addiction. Aaron Paul supports her brilliantly, though he is in danger of being typecast as the partying substance abuser.

Sven S (de) wrote: A critical Japanese movie set in WW2. Wow. A Professor is put into prison for thought crimes and treason against his country. Now comes the best thing about the movie: The movie is not about him or his heroism but about the struggles his wife has to endure, bringing up the two young daughters in a time which is difficult to get by anyway. I got wet eyes. I love this movie!

Lovro H (ag) wrote: Having seen the first Nosferatu movie from 1922, I just had to watch this remake. I liked it even more than the original! The acting is great and Klaus Kinski is very disturbing as count Dracula, but he does not have a lot of screen time... The story is the same as in Bram Stoker's book, with some things changed, considering the characters speak German in this movie. The atmosphere of the movie is really chilling and some of the shots of the castle and Pennsylvania are really gorgeous! The soundtrack is very creepy and fitting with the movie's plot, unlike in the 1922 one where the music was too cheerful for the movie so I couldn't really enjoy the movie as much as I did enjoy this one. All in all, an excellent vampire movie with great acting and an amazing soundtrack. Would deffinetely recommend for any horror fans!

Patrick M (kr) wrote: The second Peter Lorre is introduced, you know he's up to something. While we never get to know our protagonists all too well, this is still a good and clever little thriller, filled with some humor but also a sinister presence.

Pam D (it) wrote: Interesting story and story telling. Great actors and acting.
