La Cama

La Cama

What if beds could talk? Motel beds, a new divorcée, and a teenager tell their stories in this comedy from between the sheets.

La cama is a story that gives a voice to reveal the secrets held by beds. If your bed could speak, what stories would it tell? We spend more than a third of our life in bed; it is the uttermost intimate space. In them lay our secrets; perhaps that is why we never think about them. They are a direct witness of who we are, or who we wish to be. Who would give their bed a voice? Surely nobody in his or her right mind. What secrets are held by motel beds, that of a teenager, a newly divorcée, that of your neighbors? . You can read more in Google, Youtube, Wiki

I love that this documentary exposed me to a whole entire world of something new. And apparently children and young adults participate from all over the globe in this thing. No big money, no sponsorship, just pure talent and heart for the love of the craft. Now watching it is one thing, understanding whats going on with this rapid fire footwork is another. It all looked very difficult to me so I couldn't really tell who was doing the best or the worse but its all impressive stuff! A fantastically shot film with some great story lines of a few participants. Drama to boot!

Tristan M (es) wrote: This is the best Korean War movie out there to date. It takes off to a good start, and has some amazingly well done but breif action sequences in the first half. I was interested in how it would compare to The Brotherhood of War, another Korean movie about that war. It seemed to have less of the swearing and brutal gore of The Brotherhood of War, and but as a whole turned out to be a better movie. It has a good plot, and is interesting and exciting throughout, but what really got me was the amazing final battle in the school house. It had a obvious Saving Private Ryan idea to it, a small band of soldiers fighting a far bigger one, who even have tanks. The defenders use what resources they can find to make a well orginase a defense, despite their lack of training and skill. So it was like Saving Private Ryan for that part, and instantly I knew I would have to put this movie at the top of my list, although the rest of the movie is great to of course. Solidifies my belief that the Koreans are amazing at making the best war movies out there. Number eight on my top 15 favorite war movie list.

Greg S (fr) wrote: A headstrong young girl seeking "real experiences" gets what she asked for when she is exiled from a safe society where everyone spends the bulk of their lives hooked into virtual reality pleasure machines, and is forced to fend for herself on a post-nuclear surface world filled with cannibal mutants. Fast-moving and surprisingly thoughtful; would have been better if co-star Bruce Campbell's charisma had been put to better use.

Hip-hop. Rourke psycho analyzing his friends, riding his death wish cuz he got into drugs and messed up his baseball scholarship, is a junkie, impotent, really into Barry White, hardened by the Pen upstate, hanging with Irish gangsters, Italian gansters, black gangsters, jewish gangsters, shanking out eyes, going toe-to-toe boxing style, AHHHHHH LOVE IT. And its got the midget from Lord of the Thrones. You gotta see it.
