Grant F (ca) wrote: When you succeed in both humbling and breaking one's hearts by portraying these real problems in the world, while telling a truly interesting, memorable, and real story that isn't just an infomercial, you succeed!

Nikolas G (mx) wrote: a film about people and misery . excellent movie with nice cinematography but a little slow in the end

Ria H (au) wrote: One of my favourite bollywood comedy films of all time. From start to finish just proper laughs.

Tor M (it) wrote: A film with varied critisism and both typical movie cons and movie pros for my taste. I figured that it was mainly pros - like Vincent Gallo, being on several "disturbing movies" lists and being something extraordinary. Therfore I gave it a go.I love all the mysterious characters drifting around here. It creates that atmosphere of unknowingness and it kept my interest in it. It's very few words here. Some in English, other in French. This is a clean and silent film with a smooth jazz score. it's not an easy film to watch since it's very grafic at times. Then - it gets messy. It gets very ugly and disturbing. A couple of scenes are so nasty that I understand that people will hate it for it.I loved it. Not for the nasty stuff, it's an important factor, surely, but I love it for what it's about and how it's done and produced. Love is such a big theme here even if it's a bit hidden. I waited for something, and I got it. A very good film, but not for everyone. And yes, Gallo is the man of course.

Ian R (au) wrote: My favorite DreamWorks film of all time, maybe even my favorite Disney movie. I was in a bad place when this came out, and Spirit pulled me out of it. He's one of my heroes, and I think that this movie is highly underrated.

BellaRay (kr) wrote: Two good actors. Will see for sure.

Conner R (ca) wrote: A crazy little 90's movie that covers every possible way to depict the cop genre. The on-screen narration is somewhat fitting and the extreme violence in the face of comedy seems to work as well. I swear, some of the sound effects and devices could have only been used at the time. I love Christian Slater's performance and it's one of the main reasons I can accept and love the movie rather than find it weird. By today's standards this is just bizarre and crazy, but there was a time when this was considered normal.

Joshua L (it) wrote: If David Lynch directed "Home Alone", the result would be something like this, though probably not as good. And a veritable smorgasbord of your standard, by-the-book 90s cameos - Drew Barrymore! Flea! Meatloaf! But where were Ice-T and Henry Rollins? Too busy with their bit roles in "Johnny Mnemonic" and "Tank Girl" I guess.

Brendan N (jp) wrote: clever and original film, never boring and fun take on the board game

David J (mx) wrote: Although "Training Day" is an average, formulaic cop thriller, it's bolstered by an engaging, but implausible, story and an excellent menacing performance from Denzel Washington.
