Jeremy R (us) wrote: Through the course of this film I really grew to like these guys. Sure they a little bit kooky, but their story touched me. This is a film about dreams and how they can keep you going when times get tough.

Bobby L (jp) wrote: It stars Paul Rudd, and I will get to him later, but first, everything else. The direction here is decent, but nothing to really get worked up over. The supporting cast is good to really good, but nothing stunning. The period details work well enough, but does seem a bit 101 in that aspect. The music is rather good. The story, while nothing provocative or mindblowing does hold your attention. Now, on to the main attraction. This is a really dramatic role for Rudd, and the only I am aware he has. He's an excellent comic everyman, and as proven in I Love You Man or Role Models can make even cussing sound cute and sweet, which is what makes him so funny. Here, he's not far removed from that everyman persona, but minus that affable comedy front, and he's brilliant here. When the move lags or becomes too predictable, we switch over to his story and he effortlessly carries it away. I wish he'd take more roles like this, just in better movies. If you watch this, you won't be wasting your time, even with Rudd was in it, but without him, there's nothing great here.

Rich G (jp) wrote: This is the worst movie that I've ever seen, period.Anyone who enjoyed it, I'm sorry but you must seriously check your brain function. Perhaps you were watching under the influence of something.

John B (br) wrote: Very entertaining look at the insect world. Call it March of the Praying Mantises. Little conversation. Just observation. It works nonetheless.

Joel A (br) wrote: Quite a bit over the top film but held together by the genuine acting ability & charisma of Whoopi, she really made this film work. The premise is ridiculous but owner of New York Knicks hires Whoopi as couch to build media & improve the team. But things take a while till players respect her & this is typical Hollywood formula but its entertaining & easy to watch, would be a waste of time other than Whoopi.

Syed A (nl) wrote: Finally, a realistic beautiful piece of art, depicting the rise and fall of a relationship, through the phases of bliss, separation, end and beyond. In the directors own words; In a way, they'll never be able to shake each other off for the rest of their lives. They'll always be a part of each other, no matter what they do or who they get with, whether they're with each other or not. That sort of frames that feeling of helplessness, of not understanding fully what it is, which is sort of the most heartbreaking thing.
