Jennifer S (mx) wrote: Easily the worst film I've ever seen. But also one of the most entertaining. Don't see it if you're easily offended, or easily grossed out. But wow.... terrible horrible awful movie. Rest assured, though, I didn't make a mistake in rating this one 4 stars.

Jarrod L (es) wrote: I would have given this movie a zero. However, after careful consideration, Laser mission definitely deserves a 1.5. Why? Because of the fact that it's so bad. It sets a bench mark for how absolutely cheesy, poorly acted, and horribly edited a film can be. That being said, it was incredible...in that sense. Despite what the title suggests, there were absolutely no lasers, but said lasers were mentioned very frequently. Yes, this movie is not good by any means, but it's worth watching due to the hilarity that the movie provides. I can't stress enough how bad the dialog and the editing are, but honestly, those aspects are what makes the movie so, i don't know, "fun" to watch. An awesome movie. Horrible, but awesome...Ps- they play the theme song, "Mercenary man," about 9 times in the movie, and yes, each time is freaking sweet.

Alex P (jp) wrote: The most emotionally gripping movie I've seen in years. A chance encounter between two women from different socio-economic strata and age groups find one another and you gradually see their love come to life and you relish every moment. If you've had this experience, this is a chance to relive it. Blanchett and Mara hit it out of the park, I give a slight edge to Mara's performance (changed my mind after the second viewing). It's been a while since I cared that much about an ending to a movie. I've been around a while and my all time favorite goes back to early 80's (Raging Bull) which has now been replaced by "Carol". (and from nowhere came competition from "Brooklyn)
