Niraj V (jp) wrote: A 3D Indian horror movie after a long time!!!!It has all the ingredients for a horror movie, a few jumpy scenes, the usual house in the middle of nowhere, the protagonist who will ignore every single sign that would make you or me get the hell out of the place.......This is the comeback movie for Mahaakshay (Mimoh) Chakraborty after his debacle debut a few years ago. To be fair to him, he does a decent job given the stereotypical ways of indian horror movies. There is no point in dwelling on the story or screenplay, thats largely irrelevant, what matters is that the story keeps moving along at a steady pace, without really getting stuck at any one point.Coming to the 3D aspect, I really dont know why they made it in 3D, besides it being a gimmick, as the entire "jump out at you" effects were strangely scarce, so could have been a standard movie, with the same effect. The cast was decent, though the heroine really needs work on her acting and dialogue delivery. Mimoh, Achint Kaur and Arif Zakaria do full justice to their roles and the make up is quite decent too!!All in all a watchable movie as long as you don't go there expecting axes flying out at you etc!!!!!
Ricardo S (jp) wrote: This film tells the story of two best friends in high school preparing for prom. One of them comes out as gay, and their friendship is tested."Date and Switch" is a fun and lighthearted comedy about a teenager coming to terms with his sexuality, exploring his life and lifestyle. The film is full of stereotypical characters and situations, but one thing that is not stereotypical is that the lead characters are not the super camp queen that is present in many gay films. The emotional climax is a little disappointing, but the fun and happy ending makes up for it. "Date and Switch" has a but of predictability and a bit of unpredictability. I guess that's what makes the film fun.

Diana S (au) wrote: Wow. The left-over bad horror was truly horrible. The Dawn is a very low budget film about a group of inner city students who go to their professor's house in the country for an "extra credit" weekend of recreating a pre-Christianity ritual. Why does anyone think this is a good idea? Who knows? But these kids go. And they all try to act and then die horribly. The only good thing to happen in the entire film.Andre the Butcher is supposed to be funny like Dead and Breakfast and it isn't. I had occasional laughs. But mostly groans. Andre, played by Ron Jeremy, is an undead killer who comes after a group of cheerleaders and a couple of escaped convicts. There's some blood. A bunch of stereotypes and a some implied sex. I can't recommend it. But I've seen worse things.

Sylvester K (ca) wrote: Enjoyable at times but overall felt short. Looney Tunes: Back in Action relied on pop culture reference, one liners and slapstick to appeal to the audience. The CGIs were terrible and the acting by Fraser felt wooden and forced. Good for children but adults may find this being dull.
