Corley J (nl) wrote: This is a better than the average movie great acting good story and the best cinematography I have seen all year hope the Oscar get a round to seeing this the few down sides is the movie is a put long a lot could have been cut down nothing need to cut out just more than once but every scene did add to the movie even the though they could go long

Tim W (fr) wrote: An insightful, well made documentary about the Vans Warped Tour, small bands starting out/trying to make it big, and the unfortunate politics of the business/commercial side of the music industry.

Craig N (ag) wrote: I was expecting so much more - was hoping this was one of those hidden gems -- I was wrong...

Chris C (br) wrote: Filled with thrilling action and hilarious laughs, this unlikely female buddy comedy features strong performances by Bette Midler and Shelley Long.

Anna B (jp) wrote: I enjoyed this a lot more than I was expecting. Despite a lot of clichs and some bad performances (Par' is just terrible), Hill's direction is great, Dafoe, Madigan, and Moranis are all really good, the music is awesome (though bizarrely inappropriate for the apparent time period) and it kicks along at an entertaining pace for its entire length. And even though the part was clearly written for a man, the McCoy character's badassery doesn't get undermined at any point. Awesome. Also Diane Lane is hot as balls.

Stefanie C (ru) wrote: A comical and satirical tryst! Delight in Wertmuller's trademark themes of politics and sex. This film adds the differences between Northern and Southern Italy and honor to the mix. The seduction is politically oriented, as you will see with the hilariously, ubiquitous presence of the Mafia. Sicilian concepts of a man and his honor is revealed in Mimi's relationship with his wife, his mistress, his wife's lover's wife, which all somehow become convoluted with politics. Wertmuller, Giannini, and Melato have not reached their heights, but all of the elements of their later masterworks are present in this film.

Jason K (de) wrote: Probably still my favorite Cassavetes.

HungYa L (de) wrote: Casting Li Bing Bing is perhaps the most terrible mistake in this movie in my humble opinion. Hate every moment she speaks her lines. Terrible acting and all.
