La sombra del Caudillo
The movie situated in post-revolutionary Mexico describes the way politics were done in those times. Ignacio Jimenez is chosen as the candidate of the Partido Radical Progresista, but he isn't so sure about it, because he knows his boss, El Caudillo has chosen another candidate. Several political moves are done between the parties, leading to a thunderous climax.

(de) wrote: This film was something that hung around on the TiVo forever, but when I finally watched it I was immediately struck by the desire to run out and buy a copy, as it's a very well made look at the corruption that rears its head when a rising basketball star and neighborhood inspiration is shot down due to a case of mistaken identity.Recommended.

(jp) wrote: Don't waste your time. Awful Scottish accents are hard to understand. It is not scary, gory, or have any shocking scenes. Don't even get me started about the unrealistic actions in the movie.
(it) wrote: A pretty gripping British sci-fi and one that still holds to the test of time. It has a similar feel to the film The Thing. While the odd bit of dialogue isn't up to par and feels a little throw away it holds well together with the strong acting and direction
