Bonnie C (nl) wrote: Both heartwarming and heartbreaking. The movie does not overstate its message but powerfully does it with poignant acting by main and supporting actors.

Kenneth L (ca) wrote: This felt like a remake of the first film, but without the originality. Good as a stand-alone film, but not sure why it was necessary.

Brandy C (gb) wrote: First off, I really like movies that take place in enclosed areas (like 'Devil' or 'Buried') and this movie is no different. Even though it takes place in an enclosed and small space, it tricks your mind into thinking there are multiple cubes, even though they only used one to make the movie. Now that suspension of disbelief is awesome. And there's so many twists and turns and it's so exciting to watch. I definitely recommend this movie. It's one of my favorites.

Andy C (mx) wrote: Atom Egoyan made waves with this film about a group of people who are listless in love and in life and are drawn to a strip club that becomes their salvation. Worth a look.

Jon C (ca) wrote: out of all the versions of Jack Finney's 'Invasion of The Body Snatchers' book this one is the most fun and action-packed of them allthe pacing is a very fast pace which shifts the viewer into high gear from then on outeverything is thrown at you of what you'd come to expect at this point from the 1st 2 moviesthere's less gore and scares and more grossness and creepy atmospherebut the movie is still really fun instead of the city and downtown suburbia setting the pods take over a military base and it gets worse as each moment passes for these people the main family is actually pretty likeable just like Sutherland and his friends and McCarthy'sa lot of the time certain parts are very painful to watch because one by one a new victim is taken over by the cloning process and you feel bad that they got caughtthe filmmakers did a lot of surprises I might add that really spiced things up even if they weren't all happy-go-luckybut the thing I am most thankful for in this second remake is that it actually had a conclusion, the ending was executed better here than the previous movies the reason is because something actually got resolved and didn't end on a sour noteof course this second remake still retained a lot of points from the old movies and kept them freshall 3 versions of the story are really well conceived and didn't resort to the traditional area that a lot of remakes suffer fromcongratulations to the filmmakers for making 3 separate films by making the same sci-fi/horror tale just as interesting and scary

Brian W (kr) wrote: Actually surprised by this sequel to Old Yeller I had no idea existed. Where the first was a coming of age drama, this one is an adventure. It's still Disney, so don't expect greatness, and the first 15 minutes makes you wonder if it's going nowhere. The little brother is still really annoying, despite being about 5 years older. They bring back several actors. Plus some great appearances by the likes of Brian Keith and Slim Pickens as rescue posse members, most of which start out seeming like one-dimensional cut-outs, but by the end you see everyone has at least a couple layers.

Simon D (br) wrote: When you're as famous as George Clooney and you're directing a movie it can't be hard to persuade some big names to be in your movie, even for a second or two. This does make this quite a quirky movie though. The story itself is quite surprising as it is supposedly a true one. Sam Rockwell is always worth watching and this cast is very impressive but it's missing something; I reckon it could have been a lot funnier.

Carlos M (ru) wrote: The kind of outdated love story that shouldn't have space in modern times, and it has the wrong lead character, since her relationship with FDR is the weakest element of the plot and her intrusive narration is always useless and expository.

D M (gb) wrote: An ancient demon transports a computer genius into an alternate reality along with the nerd's live-in girlfriend. The demon supposedly has been searching for quite some time for a worthy opponent with whom to to do battle. In order to motivate the nerd, the demon captures the girlfriend and then places him in various scenarios of which all he must win. He has power-bands ala Space Ghost or Turanga Leela. One of these scenarios finds him doing battle with W.A.S.P.! Typical 80s cheese-fest.
