Nicholas L (mx) wrote: The Lego Movie is extremely original, irreverent, and absolutely hilarious as it speeds and zooms along breaking the fourth wall into a sarcastically and comedic social commentary.

Henri N (nl) wrote: An incrediblibly short and outstanding doc on one of the most under-rated R&B singers ever!

Jason B (nl) wrote: The sequel to Rec furthers the story of a demonic virus and is even more gory and terrifying than the first.

Peter L (mx) wrote: Freebird is pretty much a British equivalent of Walt Becker's Wild Hogs plus drugs! As if not only because it is just as bad as what the critics' consensus has already gauged for such an American comedy which came out a year earlier is enough, but worst, here is a film virtually manifested with the gross implications of getting high from its consumption of marijuana overdose. Akin to the trio's portrayal as nothing more than a bunch of dense bikers in this psychedelia, it too apparently even tries so hard by desiring viewers i.e. you to join these characters and demonstrating to you on how, like the name suggests, to be "free as a bird" through smoking and collecting more weed or, in their own slang, "grass", instead of being decently entertaining and authentically funny as it should have been. Not a very great Welsh trip to watch it for me and I loathe drugs! My simple dynamics of assessment: Three psychotic main characters = three stars gone.My Rating: 2/5 stars; Grade: C; Gesture: One Thumb Down; Status: Below Average (Rotten); Emoticon: :-/.

Noname (mx) wrote: Pretty decent drama movie about 2 friends with some problems in their lifes but they want to change it. Christian Bale plays an ex soldier trying to get a new job as a cop in LA. Overall a nice movie and well made with a bit of gangsta style. Worth seeing.

Grant S (fr) wrote: Random and pretentious. Either of these alone would have been bad enough. Together they make this movie atrocious. Ignore the fact that the movie is "loosely" based on two Edgar Allen Poe short stories. Poe would turn in his grave if he knew that he was somehow being credited with this crap.

Ellie L (de) wrote: there was just something lacking in the animation in comparison to the first one. storyline... well, let's just say that the statement that sequels are worse than the original stands true in this case

Sean K (au) wrote: A hyper eccentric look at the ropes of football from the off key player lifestyles to the choices inside and out of the.football stadium, Any Given Sunday is an electrifying piece of film making. And though the film tends to be over long and the choppy mtv style approach to the game leans on near annoyance, the film is powered by a strong.cast that lifts itself from mediocrity and over resilience. A good Oliver Stone flick...
