(de) wrote: One of those movies where not a single joke works, Semi-Pro is a dull, lazy, and forgettable comedy that is worst of all... not funny.
(gb) wrote: I thought it was going to be funny. It was a serious movie with a few funny spots. Don't get me wrong, it was a good movie but NOT what i was expecting.

(jp) wrote: It's Denzel so you already know it's going to have amazing actions scenes. He's hired on as a body guard and does whatever it takes to protect. Great movie, and great story.
(nl) wrote: A good western from the sixties with the great Clint Walker as a ex-convicted trying to reconstruct his life out of the crime.
(es) wrote: I really enjoyed this movie. The story of an unlikely love between an aging auctioneer of fine art who doesn't understand women and his mysterious young agoraphobic client. Geoffrey Rush was perfect for the role and played it to perfection. The intriguing love story was set in the atmospheric world of fine art and the mysterious heiress' rundown house with its many vintage art treasures. The pace never slowed as both subjects come tantalizingly close to achieving their unlikely love but actually learn far more about themselves in the surprising denouement.
