(au) wrote: Probably the most realistic romantic-comedy I've seen, because it doesn't follow the clichs that have plagued films like this for years and years. And if it does, it does a very good job at hiding them. Good laughs, great fun, and a relatable story.
(de) wrote: Good Canadian movie that speaks to the perils of being different in a small town. Pretty funny at times.
(us) wrote: Pitt delivers an excellent performance, keeping the viewer interested throughout the movie. The historic aspect along with the right amount of Hollywood touches makes for a great film.
(de) wrote: This was pretty bad; Jenny McCarthy is a terrible actress and actually makes walking around in low-rise pants annoying. Carmen Electra was hilarious though.
(it) wrote: Enjoyable heartfelt comedy. Beautiful scenery also. The end is a little too...triumphant? If that makes sense. But yeah, it's funny and cute mostly through out. The sort of movie your mother/grandmother would love.
(br) wrote: Quite possibly the worst movie ever made. And I'm not talking about "it's so bad it's good", cuz this is just atrocious. Plot holes galore, beyond terrible acting and writing, gave a Looney Tunes feel, with quirky/campy fight scenes and shitty music, and the ending made absolutely no sense. Yea, thanks alot, Mike, you are never picking for Crappy Movie Night again. Advice, stay away from this if you want to save your soul.

(mx) wrote: This is an alright action/thriller starring Mel Gibson and Goldie Hawn.Mel Gibson is in the witness protection program for 15 years until Goldie Hawn just happens to cross paths with him at a gas station he works at and recognizes him.Craziness ensues of course and they get chased down by David Carradine, who was in jail because of Mel and just got out, Bill Duke and Stephen Tobolowsky. The flashback sequences were terrible looking, filmed in a dilated style.Has some humour and some action but the Vancouver locales were the most enjoyable part.
(us) wrote: Not Lee's greatest film, but certainly his most focused and sophisticated. Where Enter the Dragon fails is in the overabundance of non-Lee fighting scenes, and Lee's interesting but otherwise blank-slate character.
(ca) wrote: Superb, twisty thriller. You can see its stage origins, but Hitchcock masterfully crafts the twists. I like how keep flipping who you're rooting for inadvertantly.
(nl) wrote: I just never understood the Jerry Lewis phenomenon. He is obnoxious and not funny at all. There are a few laughs here and there, but not near enough laughs. For fans of the stars only.
(fr) wrote: The title is the most interesting part. Everything about this movie feels unoriginal. I feel like I've seen the very same opening scene somewhere else. Oh yeah, and that feeling wasn't helped by "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." I guess there was a war on and they had to cheat a little.
