(ag) wrote: A little slow to start, and the two storylines feel a bit disconnected, but ultimately it's a really interesting heartland drama with a few nice little twists. Great performances from Spacek and Romijn. How Troy Garity doesn't get a lot more work is unfathomable to me. I've only seen him in one other role, but he's *awesome.*

Artem leaves to visit their mother in Leninsk but his car breaks down along the way. Seeing a light in the distance, he goes to a cabin to ask for help and Sunka(Mikhail Skryabin), a Vietnamese national, fixes his car. A short time later, Valera(Leonid Bichevin) convinces Angelika(Agniya Kuznetsova) to go with him someplace secluded and nearby but they end up at the very same cabin where Valera manages to pass out drunk...Based on a true story, "Cargo 200" is a nasty, dark and brooding tale set at a time when the Soviet Union was collapsing under its own weight as dead bodies were being returned in coffins from Afghanistan at an ever increasing rate as live bodies were going in the opposite direction, the powers that be trying to cover their tracks as best they could. And on a local level, authority was either alternately being abused or simply ignored. While all of this was going on, the older generation simply scoffed at the younger generation who they expected to fight their battles but instead just ignored the old orthodoxy.

Story begin in WW2 where Hannibals parents gets killed and even his sister in a not pleasant way. So when he gets older he revenge his family... Much Violence as usual and overall a nice flick.

(nl) wrote: A bad movie where our hero is sent into various scenarios to prove if technology can compete with magic. The problem is that most of the vignettists are too short for their own good and many don't actually have the hero doing much actively to win. By the time you get to the final confrontation itself you're just bored out of your mind. It should be noted also that the film has nothing to do with Dungeons and Dragon, or rpgs in general: The name was only added because of marketing.
