Late Spring

In the post-WWII Japan, the twenty-seven year-old Noriko Somiya lives a simple but happy life with her fifty-seven year-old widower father, the college professor Shukichi Somiya in the suburb of Tokyo. Noriko has recovered from a disease she had during the war, and her aunt Masa Taguchi and her friend Aya Kitagawa press her to get married. However, Noriko would rather stay single and taking care of her beloved father. When Masa finds a promising fiancé to Noriko, she tells that her father will remarry sooner, forcing the reluctant Noriko to take a decision.

Noriko is twenty-seven years old and still living with her widowed father. Everybody tries to talk her into marrying, but Noriko wants to stay at home caring for her father. . You can read more in Google, Youtube, Wiki

Marc F (us) wrote: I liked this ok...but lacked drama and story came off as rushed.... John Noble voicing Brainiac was incredible.... Probably should have watched this before viewing the PERFECT Flashpoint paradox

Erica L (us) wrote: If you're a fan of 1980s slasher flicks, take a chance on this movie. Set in a small Kansas community, it pays homage to the town and area-which if you're from the area as I am, you'll love it.

Jason C (ag) wrote: Crushingly bad dialogue throughout makes this hokkum of the lowest order. Seriously, this taking one for the team (i.e. kids). The best (i.e. least painful) bit isn't even in the book. Facepalmingly awful.

Michelle C (us) wrote: "We have to free the North Koreans...they can't speak. The world has to save North Korea. We have to speak of it."This is the function, this is the power of the documentary, this is the power of film. This is a film with a real purpose, almost so overwhelmingly so that the word 'film' hardly seems appropriate; even it seems to fall short. This is not a retrospective piece, this is happening right now. The documentary is a cry for help, and a desperate one. Everyone, everywhere needs to see it.

So R (au) wrote: wonderful presentation ..

Mathias N (de) wrote: Don't watch this movie. It's wildly misogynistic and the protagonist is a detestable twat.

bill s (us) wrote: It;s funny in parts though it has more of a sitcom feel to it.

Wes S (ru) wrote: Not too impressive. The plot is rather tiresome and the characters get pretty bland despite the familiar faces. It's pretty slow at times with little action or appeal. A few decent bits, but overall, it's forgettable.

Marc S (gb) wrote: Absolutely fantastic and haunting......the film that Metallica's One was based on.....also noticed that the mores code sound (SOS) was made in to the songs riff.

Arnaud L (ag) wrote: First half of the film is a bit slow but the part on the moon is beautiful and make up for the rest with class.

Ranea S (mx) wrote: Directed by George Cukor, starring Jack Lemmon and Judy Holliday, it's one of the funniest movies from it's era.

Michael T (ru) wrote: Fast-moving "Road" film, the only one filmed in color.

Laura M (fr) wrote: I liked it, but I will admit I do prefer Die Hard (1988) to it, but that makes sense because I prefer Willis to Gibson in general. I liked Glover's performance too. I'm totally going to end up watching the rest of the Lethal Weapon movies I'm sure
