The Critic (au) wrote: Narrated by Kevin Spacey and featuring a bevy of interviews, insights and footage, this is really an extensive exercise in promoting Bryan Singer's 'Superman Returns' (2006), but one that's very difficult to resist for the Man of Steel's legion of loyal fans.

Alexander B (es) wrote: This spin-off sequel was a pure cash grab attempt to capture the blunder that was Daredevil. Fortunately, and unbeknownst to whatever moron greenlit this and the previous disaster, the movie failed to reach even 25% of the box office that Daredevil "achieved." I say fortunately because this marked the end of the terrible 2000s when it came to trying to bank on people's childhood (well for marvel.. for the most part). This movie, and Daredevil, are clear examples of exactly what fans do not want: "famous/attractive" "actors" squeezed in spandex put through a few soft-core 30 minute cardio kickboxing action sequences delivering barely coherent derivative babble in a poorly constructed plot that's loosely based on a somewhat famous side-character from a more famous series. In contrast, Netflix's Daredevil series puts actual actors in realistic costumes and are very well trained and choreographed in their fights while positively delivering well written lines in a strongly composed plot that heavily follows both the spirit of a beloved character and heavily referencing the source material. I think the verdict is clear here. Even without hindsight and looking at this movie objectively, Electra is an advanced level class on how not to make a movie.

Ms Southern L (kr) wrote: This is a funny movie. I laugh hard watching this movie. I love to watch it again on tv.

Cole W (kr) wrote: While its visual effects are impressive for 1979, its uninteresting plot and hardly no tension whatsoever makes it feel like a 50 minute TV episode stretched to a 130 minute movie.

Christopher S (gb) wrote: A powerful and truly strange surrealist horror film from director Jerzy Skolimowski. A pervading atmosphere of surreal dread - as well as superb performances by John Hurt, Susannah York, and, particularly, Alan Bates - make what could easily be a completely ridiculous story work as something absurd, but darkly compelling. A cult classic that deserves to be better known.

Elke Summer and Sylva Koscina are great as the beautiful and incredibly deadly woman who snuff out their victims with perverse pleasure. Richard Johnson is a descent leadind man doing his best to look the Connery part. It took me a bit to get used to the nephew sidekick but eventually he became part of the fun. Campy spy film thats better than most of its time.

Eddy C (es) wrote: Good solid horror movie, loads of jumps and scares and better than Dominion which was good but not really a horror. Good to see Merrions journey to the original movie. Some disturbing moments and a great soundtrack and score. Great direction and camera work. The special effects are ok and do drag it back a bit but he shock, gore and story keep this movie gripping and on message. This is the best of the two prequels.
