However, it's one of those cult B-movies that is incredibly enjoyable to watch. Whether it's by design or otherwise (I'm assuming the latter), it's chock full of terrible acting, dodgy 80s hairstyles and equally iffy special effects. Bad dubbing, ludicrous plotting and two lead actors that look vaguely alike is the order of the day. You'd also think people would notice that their kitchen has been overrun by (killer) slugs, but apparently all the characters in this film need somebody else to burst in and point it out. Great fun.

Like with many Indian movies the colors and locations are highlights. Too long, and slow in parts."We tried, but we lost?" No, you warned him, and he didn't listen.
(ag) wrote: Good, if unremarkable. It often feels like a much longer movie that's been cut down awkwardly, especially in the first half, in which characters and relationships are hastily introduced and plot points rushed through in a confusing way. The walk itself is well-depicted, however (despite still feeling too rushed at times), with the gruelling section in the desert particularly evocative and affecting. Shame about the blank space in the lead.

(nl) wrote: The narrator gets really annoying in this movie because his lines are badly written. There are some good moments like the scene in the sewers but there are numerous better Film Noirs out there to watch.
