Stewart F (ag) wrote: Very entertaining look at the creation and story of the song that became known as the national anthem of hip hop, told with great craft through the eyes and ears of the legends themselves, The Incredible Bongo Band...

Joe G (br) wrote: Very funny movie. Recommend seeing it if you just want a good laugh

Justin R (de) wrote: Pretty fun, once you get past the resemblance to Baz Luhrmann's ROMEO AND JULIET, and the terrible, repetitive Chumbawamba music.

Carole N (it) wrote: A bit hard going but funny in parts!

Richard D (au) wrote: It's actually pretty difficult to make a family film about animals that's not only suitable entertainment for both adults and children, but is also a genuinely good film. Carroll Ballard has a genuine talent for this genre ... "The Black Stallion" is among the greatest films ever made about animals. This one isn't quite in that league, but it's a wonderful film.

Ryan S (fr) wrote: Some of the shorts are certainly better than others, but it's still a significant movie for it's stunning animation

Bill T (kr) wrote: Too boring and disjointed. Sorry.

Amanda C (de) wrote: There are a lot of great and highly relevant ideas in Brandon Cronenberg's washed out, highly stylized debut. He owes a lot to his father in the subject matter, but his visual style is all his own. Deeply disturbing, it also doesn't feel like a stretch to think that we are just a step away from the culture depicted in Antiviral, a world where people pay good money to be injected with diseases collected from celebrities or eat mean cloned from their DNA. It's a solid idea, which carries the film. The actual execution, and especially plot, stumble occasionally, and the final moments push the idea beyond the limits of credibility. That hardly matters, as everything that comes before it dives right into our celebrity obsession highlighting just how disturbing it is in a way that even films that are critical of the cultural obsession have managed to do.
