Paul D (au) wrote: This is not exactly how they used to make and glorify World War II missions back in the heyday of this genre, despite a mainstream handling of this by the director there's no spice to the story.

Ro T (gb) wrote: Sexy style! Amazing acting by everyone except Kim Gordon. I'm not sure what she was doing in there, but she's not an actress, that's for sure. The plot's engaging and the cinematography is great.

Angela F (us) wrote: full of colorful characters that keep the movie alive. S. Epatha Merkerson is at her best in this film.

Edward C (jp) wrote: Godzilla Vs. SpaceGodzilla(1994)Directed By Kensho YamashitaReviewTwo Godzilla's for the price of one, the movie makes the price seem small. This is the fourth film in the second series of Godzilla movies, and one that has been given high praise by a lot of Godzilla fans, although I'm here to tell you it doesn't deserve a lot. They don't delve much into what happen to the movie before this which was another Mechagodzilla movie, but does give us some thing from past films.Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla, starts with Mothra floating into space and Godzilla cells combine with space to make a spaceGodzilla as to how the cells do that you'll never know. Their some characters (who are so bland when it comes to Godzilla movie characters at this point you should stop trying to care) that are doing a project to try and control Godzilla and one of the characters try's to kill Godzilla because one of his comrades died because of the kajui. One character can somehow has telepathic powers, something else you'll be asking during the movie because could you honestly just accept that? She has telepathic powers which they try to use with a machine to try and control Godzilla. Earlier in the film though she is told by Mothra's twin fairies that a space-monster will arrive on earth and try to destroy the planet, as to why this character didn't tell anyone earlier is beyond our comprehension. Because I'm pretty sure that if you were told a giant space-monster is coming to destroy our planet you would tell somebody. They see Godzilla's son along with space-godzilla arriving where there are space stones(that's what I call them) on the ground. Godzilla's son walks up to space-godzilla like he's his father something even though he looks nothing like him except the face(stupid Godzilla junior.) The two Godzilla's fight, the son is kidnapped in the end. The Telepathic character is kidnapped under no motive or good reasoning what so ever. Space-godzilla lands right in front of a tower that gives him energy. The characters get into the robot know as Mogera and help Godzilla stop his Space version. This film has two goals it only obtains one,the other it tries but isn't near succeeding because of all the silly stupid things I noted in the plot. This characters are boring and the same types of godzilla characters like every other in this series. It has no memorable moments, except the fighting of course, that's all you'll get. You might even forget about this movie in I'm going to guess two or three days. I was looking forward to seeing this film because it was a new monster in a Godzilla which has not been seen through my eyes since well Terror of Mechagodzilla but this was utterly disappointing, so if you want to see this or are excited to see it here's some advice rent don't buy like I did. It's not worth much your time. I give Godzilla vs. Space-godzilla a two out of five.
