Long L (de) wrote: It's a documentary about Scrabble. So, if you don't like Scrabble, you're not going to like this movie. I personally like the game, so this movie was pretty interesting. It shows how popular the game is, all the different types of people that play it, and gets really creative with the use of 7 letters. The word jumbles were fun to watch.

Edgar C (fr) wrote: Ominous statement. The enygmatic Lars von Trier plays with his obsession towards the process of moviemaking through a multi-layered emphasis of self-referential indulgence, yet with a stronger purpose: the physical and intellectual decadence of society through the pinpointing of several useless trends of thought. Unique, and very close to a 5-star score.95/100

It was surprisingly tense considering I always had in the back of my mind how ludicrious the story is. It's also a film laced with dark humour which you might not think sits well with a thriller but strangely enough it works. A bizarre film worth seeing for it's unique concept!
