Sue W (ag) wrote: Pretty good, it's a bit like a British Version of 100 days of Summer, funny an inventive an a little quirky, not bad at all. I think it's passable as a boy friendly Rom Com too. Not bad at all.

Evangeline K (gb) wrote: [font=Times New Roman][size=3]Evokes powerful, often uncomfortable questions about morality, justice, vengeance, and the dangerously sketchy line that separates the three. A suspenseful thrill-ride from beginning to end, but be warned; this is not a movie for the faint of heart. I went into this movie more than a bit squeamishly due to the subject matter, but found my efforts well rewarded as I became enraptured in an unconventional plot spinning in unexpected and yet believable directions. Glenn C (ca) wrote: Great movie. Tying graffiti with the punishment of execution was a bit much but I guess it was used to try to get a point across. Exaggeration being a common thing in graffiti art, it's understandable. Made a lot of cogent arguments and harmoniously balanced the commonly known negative aspects of graffiti with the lesser known underground culture's core and growth from a couple people's perspectives. Effective documentary.

Mike S (nl) wrote: An odd film. Bening was great though. Director Ryan Murphy has gone onto much better work with Glee and American Horror Story.

Cynthia S (ag) wrote: A very well acted, written, & directed film about a romance fighting a losing battle with an untreatable disease. The film itself is slow paced, but heavy on emotions since it addresses the progressive deterioration of the man's health, and it's crippling effect on him and his family. Even though the two met and fell in love while they were married to other people, you still feel bad for what they endure throughout the film. The two lead actors, and the supporting cast, did a great job to make this production a memorable one.

Heather D (mx) wrote: Fairly accurate to the Bible stories (with the exception of quite a few details). Many camera angles seemed very amateurish and whatnot. Pretty dry and slightly boring.

clinton w (ru) wrote: a really mystical film, very emotional, does no one else remember this classic?

Sue A (gb) wrote: This is a mixture of comedy and pure horror/shock. Basically there have been questions asked on how well the hospital is running and we follow a reporter going under cover, into how the hospital is run. However, things begin to turn sour in the end... It's good to watch and there are some very sick and funny moments. There are alot of famous actors/actresses too!

John D (us) wrote: Light but likable. Angela Lansbury's southern accent is hilarious.

Davey M (jp) wrote: Very involving history from Pudovkin. Interesting double feature with Potemkin.

Scott M (kr) wrote: Story about a mentally challenged man who is kidnapped by his brother so he can collect his dead father's inheritance money. Dustin Hoffman was really good and deserved his award. Tom Cruise didn't convince me in the end he loved his brother. In fact, he seemed more narcissistic than ever. Didn't like this movie.

Tom W (gb) wrote: Very original for the time. Very gruesome.

Keith R (ag) wrote: I am unsure of what was so undesirable from all of the critics. I believe it must be their general distaste for Lawrence, who I found to be quite funny in this film. It was enjoyable to watch, not unlike slapstick movies by Mike Myers. I also think that there always seems to be a general distaste amongst mainstream reviewers for black leads with secondary white actors. The movie was supposed to be enjoyably foolish. It accomplished this task.
